2015-2016 Newsletter in my classroom

Every Friday, I send home a news letter to parents letting them know what happened in our classroom that week. I also have colleagues who send it out in the beginning of the week, however, my week always has the potential to change so much so sending it out on Friday made more sense to me! I've been using a "Friday Fridge Facts" template that my co-worker used and I loved it for the past two years, but, its time for some change! I've created this for my own classroom use... I hope you can find use for it too!

All About Me Mini Book

Another TpT pack posted! This one is inspired by one of my best sellers: my All About Me book! I made it last year as a All About Me unit for my special ed kiddos- and it makes for a great project to hang in the hallways for Back to School Night. 

I decided that I really like half page books, so I re-created this book into a half page version. It's slightly different than my full page version (some different fonts, clipart, layout) but it's pretty much the same book.

It includes 20 pages to use with your kids. Your classes All About Me books don't need to have all 20 pages in it. I picked about 10 for my students. For the kids who finish quickly, I gave them another page to work on while the other kiddos were finishing up. I didn't mind that some children's book were longer than others-- hey, it's differentiation after all!

September Mega Pack Morning Pack!

This HUGE 120 page pack includes printables, worksheets, and math/literacy games for any kindergarten classroom. The pages in this packet have been designed to meet Common Core Standards for Kindergarten while making learning fun! I love having morning work on the kiddos tables for when they first come into the room. Although I use them as morning work, these documents can easily be used as center work or homework as well.

The documents in this pack can be turned into a large packet or be used as daily worksheets. You'll notice that there are a pages in this product that can be used as a mini packet as well.

Bloggers at the Beach!

Hi Everyone, 

So I'm excited to tell everyone that I have finally met other Bloggers! Woohoo! I posted a few weeks ago that one of the goals for myself this year was to meet other bloggers! Maria from Everyone Deserves to Learn reached out to me and told me she had been wanting to plan a Beach meet up! So before long, we planned our LBI Bloggers at the Beach meet-up! Not many people were able to come, but it was super fun anyways! We spent hours on Long Beach Island with our toes in the sand catching up on everything from our personal lives to blogging! Later on, Christina from School Daisies met up for drinks, dinner and ice cream! So fun. Already can't wait for the next one!
